| Welcome to the
    Spring Retreat Page!! In
keeping with the times, the retreat was titled "www.Retreat.come" |

    |   Our theme for
    the weekend was "Sacrifice" |

    | We attempted to
examine the different ways in which we sacrifice, mainly in regards to  (1)
    ourselves, (2) others and (3) God. |

    |      |

    What we ended up
discovering is that it is virtually impossible to separate those three areas.
For example, if I sacrifice my weekend so that I can go on Retreat, that sacrifice will,
hopefully, help make me a better person (myself). Yet if I become a better person, doesn't
that affect the people around me (others)?  And by doing that, don't I become more
    Christ-like (God)? |

    The weekend was a
lot of fun, but an awful lot of learning and sharing went on as well.  If you have
never gone on a Retreat before (or even if you have), we encourage you to sign-up for the
next one that comes along.  It doesn't have to be with the Holy Redeemer Youth Group,
though. Check-out the Youth Ministry program at your Parish.
And if there isn't a Youth Ministry Program at your Parish... then now's a great time to
    start one! |

    | The linked pages have
plenty of photos on them, so they'll probably load a little slow. We decided to include
them because we realize how well images help us remember  wonderful times like
these.   If you were on the Retreat, it's worth the wait.  If you weren't
on the Retreat... well, it is still probably worth your time.   |

    Friday
night, as always, the Team headed to Oxford to get everything ready.  We were
focused and task-oriented all night... no fun and games for this hard-working team!
(And if you believe that, I've got some ocean-front property in Kansas you might be
    interested in... ) |

    | There were so many
wonderful things that happened on the weekend, and the group was incredible.  Even
through some challenging exercises, like the Mandarin Game,
everyone showed maturity and caring... and it was obvious that Christ was present among
    us. |

out the pictures of the small groups.  Or maybe you'd prefer
to look at some fun photos?  Geez... why don't you just
check 'em both out, eh? |
